In partnership with the Louis S. Wolk Jewish Community Center, Parenting Village is pleased to announce a pilot of a School-Age Circle on 9/17, 10/15, and 11/
Circles are supportive groups facilitated by Parenting Village professionals with expertise in family relationships and infant/child development. These groups offer parents the opportunity to share their joys and challenges with one another in a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. In Circles, parents make meaningful connections, learn and grow together, and receive the support that they need to offer the best of themselves to their children.
Our School-Age Circle is for parents of children 4-10 years old. It welcomes anyone to join whether you find yourself struggling and in need of extra support or merely want a connection and social time with other parents.
We request that only adults be present at the Circle, but your children have the opportunity to join the Jewish Community Center’s SitterService (for children under 4) or the PlayGym (for children 4-10) while you attend the group. Many thanks to the JCC for this free opportunity! Space for children is limited, however, so please save their spot by emailing us at email@example.com
(Some extra notes if using SitterService or the PlayGym: Please arrive 15 minutes early – you will need to sign your children in. Socks are required for the PlayGym. Please provide diapers/wipes if needed.)
Please note that you must have a picture ID to enter the building.
This Circle is free, but donations are much appreciated! All are welcome – no need to be a JCC member!
Space and childcare services are generously donated by the Louis S. Wolk Jewish Community Center of Greater Rochester.
When: Sunday September 17, October 15, and November 19, 9:30-10:45.
Where: The JCC 1200 Edgewood Ave Rochester NY 14618
